Term Three- Self Negotiated Project

For my final term of my first year studying BA Hons Photography, we have been asked to produce work based around a self negotiated brief. As I am currently making plans to move out of the family home, I have decided I would like to explore and document the area I have lived in for over 20 years, my safe haven, my home. This got me thinking back to when I was younger, the places I was educated, the places I made friends and used to play. My hometown is now undergoing a complete reconstruction, with the council finally acting on plans to build a tram right through where I live, and these exact places I remember playing so happily as a child. I feel it is important to document this as it is a huge, ongoing controversial debate throughout my neighborhood. I want to look into the notion of change and growth, while it is happening, rather than when it already has...
